![]() ![]() ![]() There is no software running that I could otherwise see as causing a problem here, except for the volume being dynamic. I would highly doubt that this is causing a/the problem (but I guess anything is possible at this point). The c: is still a dynamic disk but there is no more mirrors.with that being said however that second disk is installed in the server though its a blank simple disk as unallocated with no partitions or drive letters. I had removed the mirror before even undertaking this (i had to do this to get converter working on other machines). There is no partitions, just one straight c: (older citrix server). The physical server has two physical disks that were configured in a mirror using dynamic volumes. I have a very straightforward configuration. I want to add, these servers do not contain a utility partition and the data and boot volume are one. The conversion shows as completing successfully in Converter 3 but when I go to run the VM in Server 1.0.2 it shows the drive listed as a scsi drive but it will not boot from the disk, it keeps trying to boot from PXE which tells me it dosent see the drive as containing a bootable volume. ![]() I chose default options except to decrease the drive size a bit. I ran Converter 3 and chose the stand alone Virtual Machine option, pointed to the. I chose to create a drive image of a server using System Recovery, it imaged fine (or it appears). Having a bit of trouble doing this as well. I have decided to change tactics and use Symantec Backup System Recovery that we have here and try going the route of converting from a v2i file instead. I have migrated 12 others most all with problems but was able to resolve them and get a valid working conversion out of them. I have two physical servers that are just plain not converting using converter 3 natively after following all suggestions here. ![]()
